Here are some of the art quilts I’ve recently completed.
I was trying to capture the sunlight streaming through pansies. Kaiser Permanente purchased this quilt, it’s in display in their Frisco office.
These two are collage quilts remembering a vacation to Paris in December.
Map of Santa Fe is using the method inspired by Valerie Goodwin map quilts.
Pumpkin Harvest is made with commercial fabrics, I use a raw edge applique method using fusible web.
Winter Morning was inspired by the view on my way into work one day. It’s all hand dyed and painted fabric with thread painting for the tree branches.
Stellar Jay Lookout was inspired by the bird feeder I recently installed. The birds have been so entertaining, I wonder why I hadn’t put out the bird feeder before.
This one is called Village Whimsy, it’s all stamped, stenciled, painted and marked. Fun to do! I do like orange.
